We want to bring the amazing people who live in Detroit and the metro area together and build something incredible. We Will: 1) Gather inventors of all ages and backgrounds: Detroit is a city of builders, inventors, tinkerers, and artists fragmented across diverse communities. We bring them together. 2) Inspire people to build: With the support of artists and engineers, participants can take this chance to experiment, use everyday objects in interesting ways, and create something greater than the sum of its parts. 3) Provide a toolkit for creativity: With adequate funding, we will be able to provide each team with the same baseline of materials, training, and support. We aim to make the entire process as encouraging as possible, where any participant, amateur or expert, will have a great time.
